Dr Sinéad Jones
Director

Graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1984 with a BSc in Microbiology and Genetics, and obtained her PhD in Genetics from the same university.

After five years as a researcher at the UK Medical Research Council Human Genetics Unit in Edinburgh, she moved to Trends in Genetics, a scientific journal. Joined the International Agency for Research on Cancer, in Lyon, France in 1995, to work on research policy issues. She was also Chief of the Agency's publications unit. In 1998, obtained a Masters in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston.

Ms Tanith Muller
Manager, Capacity Building and Policy

Graduated with an MA (Hons) in English Literature from Edinburgh University in 1997, and completed an MSc in English Literature the following year at the same university.

Tanith has worked as a health policy and research officer for a political party within the Scottish Parliament, and as a researcher for BBC Scotland, working on political programmes. She joined the TCRC from the national tobacco control organisation ASH Scotland, where she spent two and a half years as Parliamentary, Press and PR Manager.
