Summary of action, decisions
and statements

Since its foundation, EFMA has given high priority to action to
combat the tobacco epidemic in Europe. With this aim, it has adopted
a number of declarations and statements on tobacco. These statements
and declarations set out the principles guiding the Forum's work
in tobacco control, and describe specific action to be taken by
medical associations and professionals, including support for legislation.
